Tren Maya is a vast railway project launched by the Mexican government as part of the National Development Plan 2019-2024

It aims to link the five Mexican states (Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Campeche, Tabasco and Chiapas).

This new mixed rail line (passenger-freight) with a range of 1,452 km will undoubtedly contribute to the economic and social development of the region.  

TPF has been selected to carry out the design of section 2, located in the state of Campeche, which covers a length of 222 km. It includes two stations and four viaducts as well as a maintenance workshop in the city of Campeche.
