Senegal intends to improve the priority road network in order to significantly increase the competitiveness of the regions such as the North

The rehabilitation works on National Road 2 Ndioum - Thilogne are divided in two packages: the 69 km long Ndioum - Goléré section, and the 68 km long Goléré - Thilogne section

TPF is involved in the rehabilitation of Package 2 on the section Goléré - Thilogne which includes: 

  • the adjustment of the road platform to 10.20m in the road section, 
  • the recycling of materials of the existing base layer, in a natural lateritic gravel foundation layer,
  • the implementation of a base layer using lateritic gravel mixed with cement,
  • the implementation of a tack coat before application of the surface course,
  • the implementation of a 9cm binder course in Gravel Bitumen (GB), taking into account the docking studies,
  • the implementation of a 5cm BB wearing course and double surface dressing on the shoulders,
  • the reconstruction of sanitation structures.
