Enhancing Railway Efficiency on the Bogazköprü–Yenice and Mersin–Toprakkale Lines

The upgrade of the 430 km railway lines connecting Bogazköprü to Yenice and Mersin to Toprakkale is aimed at improving both passenger and freight traffic.

The project involves the supply and installation of a modern Traffic Management System as well as the extension of station loops.

TPF was entrusted with supervising the execution, installation, commissioning, and start-up of the civil works, track, telecommunications, and signalling systems. The interventions include the installation of fiber optic networks to enhance the performance of railway communication systems, the deployment of electronic interlocking devices for signalling, and the implementation of the European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 1.

The project, financed by the World Bank, represents a total investment of €132 million.
