Seville is the fourth most populous city in Spain. The construction cost of Line 2 of Seville Metro is estimated at 1200 million euro. It is an important east-west connection travelling under the city’s historic centre.
The purpose of the project was to conduct the detailed design of the infrastructure, superstructure, installations, architecture of the stations, security systems, signalling and communications on a section of Line 2 of Seville Metro. The section has a length of 11.7 km, entirely underground, with 17 stations.

- 3.80 km tunnel built with a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM)
- 7.90 km tunnel between cut-off walls

- 11 stations built between cut-off walls and 6 stations with well and cavern
- Systems: electronic interlocking devices, Train Protection System (ATP) and Automatic Train Operation (ATO)
