In August 2012, TPF-Econoler has signed a second contract with KenGen for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a grid connected wind farm system consisting of eight V52-850kW Vestas wind turbines HH 49 M (total capacity: 6.8 MW) and the BoP : civil works, access roads to the top of the Ngong Hills and the electrical infrastructures, with substation,are part of the scope of works. This wind farm will feed through a new 11/66 kV substation built on site, in the national grid.

TPF-Utilities is acting as main general contractor for this project, being responsible for the design, the logistics, the technical works until commissioning of the WTG’s and the BoP on the Ngong Hills Phase II, assuming the overall project management of all subcontractors during the project period (one year).
