In October 2007, TPF-Econoler signs a contract with KenGen for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a grid connected wind farm system consisting of six V52-850kW Vestas wind turbines HH 49 M (total capacity: 5.1 MW) and the BoP: civil works, access roads to the top of the Ngong Hills and the electrical infrastructures, with substation, are part of the scope of works. This wind farm will feed into the existing national grid, through a new extension line in 11 kV.

TPF-Utilities is acting as main general contractor for this project, being responsible for the design, the logistics, the technical works until commissioning of the wind farm on the Ngong Hills, assuming the overall project management of all subcontractors during the project period (one year).
