Porto Sudeste’s Social Communication Program seeks to provide information on the project through the development and implementation of communication and information strategies and actions that establish a positive and dialogic relationship between the community and the entrepreneur.

The structuring and implementation of informative, social, educational and communicative activities reached the different audiences and opinion makers in the municipal districts of Itaguaí and Mangaratiba, in addition to the port’s employees.

In 2013, Synergia mapped and interviewed 39 strategic players, including leaders, managers, public school directors, representatives of municipal councils and public authorities. Moreover, the consultancy has organized seven communication seminars and produced around 40 graphic works to support the objectives of the program. More than 7.6 thousand people participated in the events.

In 2014, Synergia identified and interviewed 19 actors from strategic leadership, public school principals, representatives of municipal councils and community, and the government. Additionally, Synergia organized 10 communication seminars for employees of the company and produced 43 graphical demonstratives in support of the program. Also in 2014, there were 10 guided tours for the public, 64 meetings with fishing entities, as well as dialogue with the bodies responsible for dredging activities and demolishing the access channel to the port. Overall, more than 14,800 people attended these events in 2014.

In January 2015, Synergia was rehired to continue the Social Communication Program.
