Preliminary design of a 380 km railway line, with the following goals: definition of the optimal investment variant within the scope of the project on the basis of multi-criteria analysis and of cost - benefit analysis, and the project funding model.

The preliminary design is divided into the following Phases and implementation stages:

PHASE I – DEFINITION OF THE PROJECT OBJECTIVES, THE POTENTIAL MARKET AND POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVES ON INVESTMENT

StageI. Social and economic forecast and transport market analysis

Stage II Analysis of the current state of rail infrastructure and rolling stock

Stage III Marketing and mobility of investment alternatives analysis

Summary of Phase I: preselecting of variants for continuing analysis

PHASE II – INVESTMENT ALTERNATIVE SELECTION

Stage IV Technical analysis of all variants of the project investment with the cost assessment

Stage V. Environmental Analysis

Stage VI Cost – benefit analysis

Summary of Phase II – Alternative selection

PHASE III – DRAFT OF DOCUMENTS FOR THE NEXT STEPS ON INVESTMENT DEVELOPMENT

Step VII Draft of documents for the following stages of the project

Step VIII Draft of OPZ or PFU [Financial Plan Contract] of the essential specifications for contractors selection for the next stages of the project
