The Société d’Aménagement et de Promotion de la Station de Taghazout (SAPST) has launched the project for the development of new integrated tourist resort in the rural municipality of Taghazout (NSTIT), in the prefecture of Agadir Ida-Outanan-dénommée. The new resort covers an area of 615 hectares.

This project of 4.5 km of beaches,luxury hotels, residential buildings, villas, sports and leisure centers as well as a 18 hole golf course is part of the tourism and real estate development plan Plan Azur, which was initiated by the Moroccan Government.

SAPST wished to integrate a high quality environmental (HQE) standard in the construction of this new resort, in order to preserve natural resources, to respect and enhance the cultural authenticity of the region and to promote energy efficiency.
