The extension of line 4 of Mexico City Metro has a total length of 24.5 km between the current terminus Martín Carrera and the new terminus Tepexpan . The project aims to develop 19 new intermediate stations (elevated stations) and a new terminal in Tepexpan (at grade station) . It also includes implementation of new workshops located next to Tepexpan terminal station.

The technical work includes the development of the following tasks with a conceptual study approach:

  • Alignment
  • Railway Project ( connection to current line, switches scheme)
  • Conceptual design of stations and terminals
  • Conceptual design of workshops
  • Operational and functional Scheme
