In May, the company A-CING, a subsidiary of TPF Getinsa Euroestudios, started the services for “Implementing a predictive and corrective system for the management of the Bilbao´s sewerage network”, a city in the North of Spain with a population of 350,000 inhabitants.

The aim of the project is to develop a hydraulic model with InfoWorks ICM Live and perform simulations of the sewerage system by monitoring the performance of the network through different hydraulic and meteorological parameters.

The model enables to adopt preventive measures to adequately manage the system according to different rainfall conditions. It can also serve as a basis to evaluate the behaviour of the system in diverse scenarios in order to identify improvement needs and accordingly design the most suitable corrective actions to take.
