This new shopping centre is located on the canal banks and was inaugurated Wednesday, October 19, 2016 by Equilis CEO Carl Mestagh, TPF CEO Thomas Spitaels, Minister-President of the Brussels Region Rudy Vervoort and Brussels Mayor Yvan Mayeur. TPF’s entire board of directors also took part in the ceremony.
After three years of work, this new living place of 61,000 m² is now ready to welcome its first visitors. It offers 44,000 m² dedicated to shops and Horeca (a total of 113 shops), 100,000 m² dedicated to leisure and culture (indoor adventure park Koezio, event areas for up to 1,500 people, White Cinema with 1,150 seats developed by Belga films) and 7,000 m² dedicated to offices.
This ambitious project of 214 million euros was partly financed by shareholders Equilis (75%) and TPF (25%). Our subsidiary TPF Engineering carried out the studies for stability, roads and utility services, technical building services (HVAC, electricity, sanitary, fire protection, hoisting) and works supervision.
